学生事务管理:应对全球化和提高质量的挑战国际学术研讨会通知(第1号)

2011 International Conference on Student Affairs Administration

——Meeting Challenges of Globalization and Quality Improvement

在全球化、信息化、多元化和国际化趋势日趋增强的社会环境中,高校学生事务管理面临着诸多亟待解决的新问题。同时,中国高等教育正面临着由规模扩张向质量提高的转变。因此,为了促进高校学生事务管理应对全球化和提高质量的挑战,迫切需要探讨不同国家学生事务管理理论、途径与方法,建立学生事务管理的专业化标准和质量评估理论与方法。鉴于此,在2007年召开“大学生发展与学生事务专业化”国际学术会议的基础上,经教育部批准,将定于2011年5月19—21日在中国地质大学举办主题为“学生事务管理:应对全球化和提高质量的挑战”国际学术研讨会,现将有关事项通知如下:

一、会议主题

1.全球化与学生多元文化教育管理

2.学生事务管理专业化标准及质量评估

3.高校学生事务专业化的理论与实践之中外比较

二、会议时间及议程

2011年5月19日:报到(注册费:680元人民币/人(研究生减半),食宿自理)

5月20日:上午8:30—12:00 开幕式及专题报告

下午14:30—18:00 小组报告与讨论

5月21日:上午8:30—12:00 小组报告及闭幕式

下午14:30—16:30 参观校园、博物馆

5月22—24日:长江三峡或武当山文化考察(自费)

六、重要截止日期

1.2011年3月10日前,请将拟参加会议回执邮寄或以电子邮件方式发给我们。

2.拟提交论文的作者,请于2011年4月10日前将论文全文电子文稿(包括中英文摘要等)发给我们。

3.2011年4月25日确定大会发言人。

七、论文格式要求

1.论文应依次包括以下各项内容:论文题目、作者姓名、任职机构名称、摘要、关键词、正文、参考文献;英文的标题、姓名、任职机构名称、关键词、摘要;作者简介及联系方式(地址、邮编、电话、传真及E-mail等)

2.论文摘要限500字以内,关键词3—5个。

八、论文入选ISTP事宜

1.凡有意向将论文入选ISTP的论文作者,须按照检索要求整理、排版文章(请访问中国地质大学高等教育研究所网页:http://cuggroup.cug.edu.cn/gjs/,查看本会议通知中有关论文入选ISTP的模板要求)。

2.为避免版权纠纷,入选稿件必须是从未发表过,且今后也不再向其它会议和报刊杂志投稿的文章。

3.入选ISTP论文需缴纳检索费1200元,如超过模板上规定的5页(含5页),则超出部分按照150元人民币/页加收费用。

With the development and reform of higher education, student affairs administration is now facing new challenges due to globalization, informatization and diversification. In addition, higher education in China is evolving from the scale expansion to quality improvement. To promote the specialization of student affairs administration in Chinese universities, student affairs administration practitioners in China must face up to the challenge of globalization and quality improvement by means of further exploration of the theories, methodologies,practices of different nationalities, ethnic groups and cultures, and by means of the establishment of the professional standards and development of quality evaluation theories and methods in China. In this context, the International Conference on Student Affairs Administration——Meeting Challenges of Globalization and Quality Improvement is to be held at China University of Geosciences(Wuhan), dated May 20th -21st, 2011, as a follow-up of the conference held in 2007, titled “University Student Development and Specialization of Student Affairs”.一

2. The professional standard and quality evaluation of student affairs administration

3. Comparisons of theories and practices of professional student affairs administration at home and abroad

Schedule-at-a-glance

May 19,2011: Check-in (registration fee: US$ 200. Three-day hotel accommodation included.)

May 20,2011: 8:30 am—12:00 pm: Opening Ceremony and Keynote Speakers.

14:30 pm—18:00pm: Concurrent conference sessions.

May 21,2011: 8:30 am—12:00 pm: Concurrent conference sessions and Closing remarks.

14:30pm—16:30pm: Campus and Museum tours.

May 22——24,2011: Optional cultural visit to the Three Gorges of Yangtze River or Wudang Mountain (cost to be covered by participants).

4. Important Dates:

(1) All attendees and presenters should mail or email us the confirmation letter of participationbefore March 10, 2011.

(2) Presenters should submit their completed papers with abstracts both in Chinese and English to us via emailbefore April 10, 2011.

(3) Final confirmation will be sent to those who have been selected to be speakers at the conferenceon April 25, 2011.

5. Paper Format:

(1) The contents of the paper should include the following in sequence: title of the paper, name of the author(s), affiliation, abstract, key words, main text; authors' description and contact method (address, post code, telephone number, fax number and email address, etc.)

(2) Word Limits: Abstract: 500 words; Key words: 3—5 words.

6. About paper access for ISTP:

(1) The authors with intention to obtain access to ISTP should visit the website of Higher Education Research Institute, CUG:http://cuggroup.cug.edu.cn/gjs/, to check the paper format of ISTP in the related conference notice).

(2) To prevent copyright dispute, paper submitted should have neither been published, nor submitted to other conferences, journals or newspapers, etc.

(3) Paper access to ISTP needs to pay US$ 200.
