¡¡Main functions of Graduate Affairs Department:
¡¡¡¡Graduate Affairs Department and the Graduate School share one office.
Its functions are mainly the following:
1. Draw out development layouts and plans of the discipline construction,
development layouts and regulations for the postgraduate education;
direct and examine work of the postgraduate education in all schools
and departments.
2. Manage the postgraduate studentship and the routine postgraduate
educating and teaching; take charge of postgraduate recruitment and
employment guidance for postgraduates as well as application and management
of non-postgraduates attending in postgraduate courses.
3. Examine and qualify excellent dissections for the doctor¡¯s and master¡¯s
degree evaluated by the Degree and Graduate Education Quality Inspection;
confer the doctor¡¯s or master¡¯s degree to qualified postgraduates.
4. Be responsible for the selection of postgraduate tutors.
5. Establish the doctor¡¯s and master¡¯s degree conferring section and
deal with the declaration of key disciplines.
6. Deal with the operation and management of the post-doctoral flowing
stations.
7. Administer the postgraduate Party affairs.
8. Accomplish other work assigned by the superiors.
