¡¡¡¡Functions of the
Publicity Department:
The Publicity Department is a functional department with the university
Party Committee in charge to publicize thoughts and process the construction
of the spiritual civilization. Its main functions include:
1. Propagandize the routes, guidelines and policies of the Party, and
adhere to the right political direction of the media and publicity work.
2. Be responsible for the ideological and political work of the faculties
and the staff; make investigations and analyses and reflect in time
their ideological situations; put forward suggestions, summarize experiences
and make scientific researches in administering the ideological and
political work.
3. Uniformly administer the university¡¯s spiritual civilization construction
and the ideological work; organize activities concerned with campus
cultural construction.
4. Assist the Organization Department of the Party Committee in publicizing
and educating of the Party members.
5. Manage the News and TV Execution Center and direct the departments
concerned in outward propagandizing and reporting, including the propagandizing
of foreign affairs.
6. Be responsible for the propagandization about important festivals
and activities in the university.
7. Accomplish other work appointed by the Party Committee.
