Functions of the Organization Department (including the subordinate
Party Committees and the Party School of the Party Committee):
1. Draw out regulations and layouts for the construction of the Party
organizations in the university, and supervise and urge the fulfilling.
2. Be responsible for the construction of the grass-root Party organizations,
including various activities of the Party organizations like the learning,
educating and administering of the Party members and the collecting
of Party member fees.
3. Organize and develop new Party members.
4. Take charge of the training of the Party members, cadres and Party
enthusiasts and the routine work in the Party School.
5. Assist the university Party Committee in establishing and regulating
the departmental institutions.
6. Select, employ, check and administer the departmental cadres.
7. Assist the university Party Committee in selecting and cultivating
university leaders and second-string leaders at the university¡¯s level.
8. Assist the Party Committee in constructing the middle-level organizations;
cooperate with the
Discipline Committee to arrange for the middle-level democratic meetings;
supervise and examine the accomplishment of building up a clean and
honest Party.
9. Handle the routine work of the subordinate Party Committees.
10. Censor persons to go abroad on business.
11. Accomplish other work designated by the Party Committee.
