¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ in CUG (Wuhan)
¡¡¡¡Brief Introduction:
¡¡¡¡With the predecessor being Team of Overseas
Chinese in CUG (Wuhan), League of Homecoming Overseas Chinese in CUG
(Wuhan) was established on February 12, 1988. At that time members in
Team of Overseas Chinese in CUG (Wuhan) including the homecoming overseas
Chinese, their overseas family members and relatives were 40 in all.
With the increasing development of the national economic construction,
the Party¡¯s policies of overseas Chinese affairs has been familiar and
understood by more and more people. Besides, in recent years the university¡¯s
Department of United Front has offered lasting concern and support of
the overseas Chinese affairs and performed much work, so that to this
day members in League of Homecoming Overseas Chinese in our university
has increased by more than four times, among which there are 6 homecoming
overseas Chinese, 94 overseas Chinese family members, 43 overseas Chinese
relatives and 23 family members and relatives in the regions of Hongkong
and Macao. With the approval of the superior authorities, the League
Committee of Overseas Chinese was formally established on October 22,
1999. Under the leadership of League of Overseas Chinese of Hubei Province
and the university¡¯s Department of United Front, League Committee of
Overseas Chinese of CUG (Wuhan) organize various activities that surround
the central work of the university and are in line with the constitution
of the League.And it aims to solidify all the homecoming overseas Chinese,
their family members and relatives, Chinese family members and relatives
in the regions of Hongkong and Macao and other overseas Chinese, carry
forward patriotism and make contributions in making China strong, realize
the peace and unification of the motherland and manage well the socialist
university.
