¡¡¡¡Security Services Department, Security
Services Office and Ministry of Armed Forces share one office. Its main
functions are:
1. Be responsible for work concerned with public security on campus,
ensure peace and order on campus and maintain the university¡¯s stability.
2. Draw out and improve management regulations related with the university¡¯s
security services; perform the propagandization and education in law-obeying,
safe production and secrecy to prevent the happening of various infringements,
accidents and calamities.
3. Be responsible for the political protection and management of the
registered permanent residence. Assist the police in investigating and
dealing with the public security cases and criminal cases; take charge
of the public security in large-scale gatherings and important foreign
affairs activities in the university, the safety of visiting VIPs and
the traffic safety and traffic order administration on campus.
4. Check, discover, urge and settle hidden safety troubles in the university;
employ and administer janitors in all buildings for teaching, science
researching, office and production; be responsible for the public security
patrolling, the furnishment and supervision of fire hydrants.
5. Censor and declare persons who are applying to go abroad or go to
border regions; cooperate with relevant departments in security in foreign
affairs.
6. Assist departments concerned in the secrecy and security defending
of important science reseaching projects.
7. Direct the work of Committee of Community Residents and manage the
on-campus business trading service areas and vendor stalls.
8. Accomplish other work assigned by the university authorities.
