Retired Personnel Affairs Office
¡¡Functions of Retired Personnel Affairs Office:
1. Carry out the relevant policies and regulations on retiring made
by the superior authorities and draw out specific implementing methods
and detailed rules.
2. Perform the ideological and political work of the retired personnel
(including those who enjoy the special national allowance treatment);
organize political learning, files reading and relevant meetings.
3. Organize the retired elder people to participate in diverse social
activities on teaching, science researching, managing, manufacturing,
consulting and the activity of ¡° Care for the next generation¡± ; bring
into play the Elder People Association and the entity of all elder people
in the university.
4. Manage the activity rooms for the retired personnel and organize
colorful recreations, entertainments and sport activities that are beneficial
to the physical and spiritual health of elder people.
5. Care for the health and living conditions of the retired personnel;
cooperate with relevant departments to manage well the life services
for the retired personnel, and make the funeral arrangements and comfort
and compensate the bereaved family of the deceased.
6. Assist the departments concerned of the university in adjusting wages
and treatments of the retired personnel and in making statistics and
reporting work on retiring.
7. Accomplish other work by the university.
