¡¡¡¡Brief Introduction:
¡¡¡¡Earth Sciences¡ªJournal of China University
of Geosciences (in Chinese and English versions) is a geological magazine
published bimonthly by the university for information dissemination
on all branches of geology and associated technology in the exploration
and utilization of earth resources. It reports the essential research
findings and the originally academic thinkings for sustainable developments.
The scope of articles includes stratigraphy, paleontology, petrology,
mineralogy, structure geology, crust and mantle geology, geodynamics,
geochemistry, geophysics, deposit geology, energy geology, exploration
and construction engineering, environment engineering, information engineering,
and other frontier disciplines in geology like global changes, oceanic
geology, material science and space science.
¡¡¡¡In recent years, under the direction of the university Party Committee
and university executives and under the leadership of Editor-in- Chief
Wang Hengjun, Journal of CUG has made prominent achievements in planning
and topic selecting, quality of editing and issuing, construction of
digital periodical websites, international exchange and cultivation
of talents with original ideas. Up to now, the journal has been awarded
more than 20 prizes at both the national and ministerial levels for
its high- quality academy and publications.
¡¡¡¡Currently, the Editorial Department has established long-term exchange
relationship with 156 overseas countries and publication managements
and has been indexed and abstracted by international Engineering Index
(EI) Page One, Chemical Abstract (CA), Abstracts Journal (P§¨), Current
Bibliography on Science and Technology (CBST), GeoRef, GeoBas, and so
on.
