Brief introduction:
CUG
(Wuhan) Hospical, as an institution of providing medical treatment and
health care and as an important place of providing hygeian services
and education, shoulders the important responsibility of serving the
university¨s teaching and scientific and technological work as well
as the physical health of all the teachers, students and staff.
Since the establishment of CUG in 1952, especially since the university
moved from Beijing to Wuhan in 1975, with the processing of the university¨s
construction, the hospital gradually developed from the former Infirmary
to Sanitation Section. Finally in September 1982, with the approval
of the superior authorities, CUG (Wuhan) Hospital was established and
thus expanded its service scope.
The Hospital is now staffed with 58 people including a returning associate
professor of medical treatment. Among the staff, there are 3 professors
of medical treatment, 11 associate professors of medical treatment,
7 doctors-in-charge and 1 doctor; 21 nurses, 3 physical examiners, 4
chemists, 5 accountants, 2 Party Affairs administrative persons and
one dustman.
The Hospital, with the fixed asset of more than 1,670,000 RMB, has
a floor area of 2,234 square meters and is composed of the clinic section
and the hospital section.
In the new century and at the new historical stage, all the staff
in CUG (Wuhan) Hospital are intensifying and putting into practice their
study of the spirits put forward in the Sixteenth National Congress
and comprehensively implementing the important thought of Three Represents
to manage well the work of medical treatment and health care and thus
to accomplish the tasks designated in the Party¨s Sixteenth National
Congress.
