　　It is part of the diplomatic work of our country to accept and train international students. Since the beginning of the recruitment of international students in 1988, the number of overseas students in CUG has been increasing year by year; about 80 of them have already graduated from the university. Up to 2002, the current overseas students totals about 60. They are from countries and regions such as Spain, Russia, North Korea and Hong Kong.

　　In recent years, CUG has achieved academic exchanges and established cooperative relationships with universities in more than 30 countries, such as the United States, Great Britain, Japan, Germany, Russia, etc. It has also successfully carried out the cooperative plan for the cultivation of students with Moscow University. We strongly believe that the international reputation of our country will be continuously enhanced, and the scale of the cultivation for overseas students will become even larger.
